މި އަހަރު ސްރީ ލަންކާ އަށް ދިމާވި ފަދަ އިގުތިސާދީ މައްސަލަތަކެއް ރާއްޖެ އަށް ނެތް ކަމަށް ރައްޔިތުންގެ މަޖިލީހުގެ މަރަދޫ ދާއިރާގެ މެމްބަރު އިބްރާހީމް ޝަރީފް (މަވޯޓާ) ވިދާޅުވެއްޖެ އެވެ.
އޭނަ މިއަދު ކުރެއްވި ޓްވީޓްތަކެއްގައި ވިދާޅުވީ ލަންކާ އަށް ދިމާވި ފަދަ އިގުތިސާދީ އަދި މާލީ ތަދުމަޑުކަމާއި ރާއްޖޭގެ ހާލަތާ ބައެއް ސިޔާސީ ލީޑަރު ގުޅުވާ ކަމަށެވެ.
"އެކަމަކު ރާއްޖެއަކަށް އިގުތިސާދީ ގޮތުން ހައްލު ނުކުރެވޭ ވަރުގެ ނުރައްކަލެއް ނެތް،" މަވޯޓާ ވިދާޅުވި އެވެ. "ރާއްޖެ އަށް ދިމާވި ހާލަތަކި އާންމު އިގުތިސާދީ ހަރަކާތްތައް މަދުވެ، ބޭރު ފައިސާގެ ރިޒާވަށް ވަގުތީ ދަށްވުމެއް އައުން."
Some opposition leaders compare our situation with that of Sri Lanka, but country isn’t in danger of insolvency. Therefore the issue of insolvency of our doesn’t arise. In our case the decline in reserves is temporary n resulting from regular economic activities.

އޭނާ ވިދާޅުވި ގޮތުގައި ކޮވިޑްގެ ހާލަތާ ގުޅިގެން ވެސް ރާއްޖޭން ފާއިތުވި ދެ އަހަރު އިގުތިސާދު ރަނގަޅު ކުރަން ވަރަށް ގިނަ ފިޔަވަޅުތަކެއް އަޅައި، ވަރަށް އަވަހަށް ހިންދެމިލާފައިވާތީ ރާއްޖޭގެ އިގުތިސާދަށް ކުރިއެރުން އައިސްފައިވާ ކަމަށެވެ. އަދި މިކަން އިތުރަށް ރަނގަޅުކުރަން އަޅަން ޖެހޭ އެންމެހާ ފިޔަވަޅުތައް ސަރުކާރުން އަޅާނެކަމުގެ ފުރިހަމަ ޔަގީންކަން ވެސް އޮތް ކަމަށް މަވޯޓާ ވިދާޅުވި އެވެ.
In the worst economic downturn during the peak of Covid-19 government managed our finances prudently n paved the way for economic recovery n growth.Therefore I am confident that the government will take necessary steps to ensure economic stability n prudently manage reserves.

"ބޭރުގެ ފައިސާގެ ރިޒާވް ދަށްވުމުގެ އެއް ސަބަބަކީ ފާއިތުވި ދެ އަހަރު ޓޫރިޒަމް ދާއިރާ ހުއްޓުމަކަށް އައުން. އެކަމަކު ދަތި ވަގުތުގައި ވެސް ރާއްޖެ ވަނީ ޓޫރިޒަމް ދާއިރާ ކޮޅަށް ޖަހާފައި،" އޭނާ ވިދާޅުވި އެވެ. "އޭގެ ސަބަބުން ބޭރުގެ ފައިސާ ވަންނަ މިންވަރު އިތުރުވަމުން އާދޭ."
Another reason for reserve depletion was lower tourist arrivals in the past 2 yrs n increased consumer demand post Covid-19. But we all know that most difficult times are past us n as tourism rebound ,increase in revenue will shore up the reserves.

މަވޯޓާ ފާހަގަކުރެއްވި ގޮތުގައި ފާއިތުވި ފަސް އަހަރުގެ ތެރޭގައި ބޭރު ފައިސާގެ ރިޒާވް މަދުވެ، އަސާސީ ތަކެތީގެ އަގު ވެސް އުފުލުނެވެ.
"އެކަމަކު ހަގީގަތުގައި ކަންބޮޑުވާން ޖެހޭ ވަރުގެ ކަމެއް ނެތް. ދެހާސް ނުވައެއް، ދެހާސް އެގާރަ ހިސާބުގައި މިހާރަށް ވުރެ ބޮޑަށް ރާއްޖޭގެ ބޭރުގެ ފައިސާގެ ރިޒާވް ދަށްވި." އޭނާ ވިދާޅުވި އެވެ.
